These are some of the many questions that ‘Homeopathy & Democracy’ seeks to explore.
According to the United Nations: all citizens deserve the right to homeopathic medicine, a healing treatment in which all remedies are extracted from plants, animals and minerals. And yet, the benefits of homeopathy are debated worldwide.
Through a diversity of case studies from India, Greece, Italy, Germany and Sweden – one gains a glimpse into the practice, study, history and benefits of homeopathy.
Highlights include interviews with leading international homeopathy authorities, including the Minister of Homeopathy in India, the only country in the world to have a department of Homeopathy, as well as the world famous homeopath Vithoulkas, in Greece, a man who has cured over 100,000 people through natural treatments.
The film thus asks: will the practice of homeopathy survive?
